April

April is our Clinic Director and is responsible for overseeing day to day operations of the office.  April has been involved in the practice since day one.  She has an integral knowledge of chiropractic and the benefits regular care provides families seeking optimum health.  Both of her children have been adjusted since birth and through growing up in the "Chiropractic" lifestyle, understand what true wellness is.  Her enthusiasm and energy at the front desk is contagious and she is always eager to support our patients in any way she can.   

April is originally from Iowa and loves to connect with other midwesterners here in Maine.  Even though she misses her family and friends in the midwest, April truly enjoys living in  "Vacationland" and has embraced all that Maine has to offer.  Since becoming a "Mainer" you can find her skiing in the winter and at the beach in the summer.  She is married and keeps busy with her two active daughters Isabel and Ava. 

Laurie

Laurie is our Patient Services Coordinator.  She is the "quarterback" of our team and keeps all of our patients on track with their program of care in and out of the office.  You can always find her at the front desk, welcoming patients, scheduling appointments and is the primary liaison between the patient and the Doctors.  Whenever patients have a question or needs attention regarding their care, Laurie is always available and ready to assist them in any way she can. She truly enjoys helping members of our practice attain their health goals!    

 Laurie was born and raised in southern Maine and is a self proclaimed "SoPo" girl!  She loves to spend summers on the beautiful beaches near her home. Laurie has seen first hand the benefits of chiropractic for herself and her family and is excited to be a part of the SFC team.

Susan

As the Clinical Chiropractic Assistant, Susan brings a warm and welcoming energy to our family here at SFC.  Her role is to assist you with any needs, from aiding you with one of our many services to helping you with your appointments.  She is always excited to see our patients and looks forward to guiding you and your family on your journey to optimal health and wellness!

Susan has spent the last 8 years, with the support of her husband, Chad, raising their two children Carter and Caroline.  Susan and her family have been dedicated patients at SFC for over 9 years.  She truly understands the benefits of regular care and Chiropractic wellness for the entire family. 

Lorrie

As the Billing Manager, her main role is the  financial  health of the office.  Lorrie is the liaison with patient's insurance companies. She obtains insurance benefits and assists patients in understanding their chiropractic benefits.  Lorrie also develops patient's financial payment options for the recommended Program of Care.  You will often find her pitching in with her warm and welcoming energy along with the front desk team at various tasks.  She believes that maintaining a continuous line of communication with patients, doctors and staff is key for the success of patient's care.  Lorrie understands that Chiropractic is a true connection of the mind and body.  Lifestyle change is imminent if one wants to be successful with care.  Lorrie discovered the benefits of chiropractic care as a patient at SFC and was excited to join the SFC team when the opportunity was presented to her.  She looks forward to working with you as you embark on your new health path. 

Lorrie has not always been a "Mainer", she relocated to New England close to 20 years ago with her husband, Steve and their children.  After growing up in Arizona and later living in Wisconsin, she truly enjoys the beauty and lifestyle that Maine has to offer.  She loves the beach and feels blessed to live in such a beautiful area.  She is most proud of her "kids" as they've grown into outstanding young adults.  When Lorrie is not with her SFC family, she enjoys going to her kids sporting events, boating, tennis,exercising, music, gardening and being active with her family.

Rudy

Beloved friend ~ Companion to patients

June 2000 - October 2011 

 Rudy was a fixture at SFC for over ten years.  Patients knew that if April was in the office, there was a pretty good chance that Rudy came with her.  He was the official patient "greeter", welcoming everyone at the door, more than willing to give and receive lots of love.  Patients adored Rudy and were known to actually lie down on the floor to pat his belly and give him hugs.  The children in the practice couldn't wait to see him!  There's something to be said about a dog's love for healing.  We sadly said goodbye to this phenomenal dog in October of 2011.  He is sorely missed by the SFC family.
